Finding focus has become increasingly difficult in environments shaped by constant interruptions, notifications, and tools competing for attention. Many products designed to support productivity or wellbeing often end up adding more complexity, demanding attention rather than reducing noise.
Cosmic Waves was designed as a quieter alternative: a space for focus, relaxation, and creative exploration through sound. Users can explore curated sound libraries, create their own mixes, and build personalized routines that feel intentional and uninterrupted. Sound becomes a subtle layer for productivity, calm, or inspiration, adapting to different moments throughout the day.
Without an existing identity system in place, our work extended beyond the product experience to defining a visual language for the app itself. Guided by the client’s preference for simplicity, we developed a minimalist identity inspired by the soft geometry of a circular shape, familiar on the music and sound industry. The result is a calm, lightweight experience that feels unobtrusive.
