Overview
Staying consistent with a new habit becomes difficult once the initial motivation fades, and most people are left without any real support to bridge that gap between good intentions and lasting change. Most habit trackers focus on checking boxes and counting streaks, not on how people actually feel along the way, adding pressure and guilt rather than encouragement.
Vox was created to be a different kind of growth companion: a space for habit-building, reflection, and personal growth guided by an AI mentor. Users can track their habits, reflect on their progress, and receive personalized guidance that feels supportive rather than rigid, adjusting to setbacks instead of punishing them. Progress becomes an ongoing, human conversation, adapting to how each person grows over time.
Without any existing identity in place, our work extended beyond the product experience to defining a visual language for the app from the ground up. Guided by the client's preference for a minimalist, pixel-inspired aesthetic, we developed a dark-mode identity built around a restrained, low-color palette, letting small pixel details carry personality without adding visual noise. The result is a focused, distraction-free experience that feels precise and intentional.
